March 27th, 2006 01:44 PM #1I hope someone could help me out on some issues here. Does revo 1.8 gas have timing belt? I'ved checked the manual but what is mentioned there was for diesel eng. and there was no mention of when to replace timing belt for gas eng. Any ideas? Another thing, the handbreak indicator remains lighted kahit na released na ang handbreak. May problem ba ang brake system? Thanks in advance.

may timing belt ang revo. afaik, 80-90k ang replacement interval nyan (based on my officemate's revo services).
yung sa brake light. baka mababa lang level ng brake fluid level nyan sa reservoir. nangyari na sa akin yan before.

walang timing belt ang revo 1.8 gas ang 2.0 gas .. timing chain po mga ito and no need to change it..
ang meron timing belt is yung revo diesel.. usually palit every 80,000kms ..
yung sa hand brake light,
1) i-ilaw po yan pag halos ubos na yung brake fluid..
2) on revo diesel, i-ilaw yung hand brake light pag naputol yung alternator belts, then you will loose your brakes.. kaya ingat tsong!!!
3) or pwede din sira na yung switch mismo ng handbrake or shorted na yung nasa loob ng brake fluid.. have it checked immediately..

March 27th, 2006 10:05 PM #6Mga sirs, thanks alot. Checked the brake fluid and it's on the required level. Well, I assume na short siguro yung sa taas ng reservoir. Thank you so much for the advice.
