Pagnabahaan ang kotse mo, as in hanggang bubong, what should we do next after we are able to get the car out? Diesel Hilander po ang kotse. Sa engine, sa upholstery, sa dashboard. Papano na ang sounds natin, like the speakers, yung butas ng tape deck napasukan din! Di naman umaandar ang kotse nung nabahaan siya, although tinakpan ng plastic yung tambutso at air cleaner, although I doubt kung totally sealed yun, baka di nakayanan sa pressure ng tubig. Assume na lang may tubig nakapasok.

August 28th, 2004 11:23 AM #4engine - complete washing of internals. open ang oil pan and top cover then flush with diesel/kerosene. then new oil.
fuel tank and fuel lines - flush with clean fuel
electricals - dismount starters and alternators and check for grounding and resistance. check also grounding of all electrical connections. the connections may all have to be opened and cleaned with contact cleaner. also all fuse boxes and relays will have to be opened and checked for ground faults.
yung car stereo mo, sorry to say but tapon na yan.

August 28th, 2004 05:19 PM #8Wala pa yan. Meron dito sa shop namin ngayon Kia Besta VAN. Roof rack lang ang hindi binaha. Pinaayos na ng owner ang engine. Nung ini-start ko kumadyot at sumuka ng tubig baha ang dashboard. Lintek basang basa sapatos ko kagabi. Ang baho nung tubig baha. Yung upuan, puro lupa.

chances are di na sya covered ng warranty + insurance..granting similar incident happened to new models with warranty & CGL insurance..sasagutin pa kaya ng insurance..?!parang nasa force majeure clause nato..?
