June 18th, 2007 12:22 PM #1mga peeps, i have a honda civic 97 matic which i've just acquired 2nd hand... tanong ko lang po sana kung ano ang normal position ng temp. gauge on ek civics once na-reach na niya ang kanyang ideal temperature. is it positioned sa middle/halfway? or nasa 1/4? or above half konti?
hope u can help me mga civic owners... tnx po!

June 18th, 2007 01:48 PM #3* brod raine- tnx bro! yung sa akin kc nasa mga 1/4 ang gauge position niya, pero pag i'm going thru high rpm's (mga 3,000 and above) pumunta na cya sa gitna. then pag normal driving na( 2,000 rpm below), bumababa din cya. oks lang po ba to?

June 18th, 2007 05:08 PM #5With my EK before, it was always slightly above the middle. Kaso sa four-plus years kong hawak to, di ko siya nakitang naglaro because of RPM changes. Tumaas lang nung nagkaroon ako ng overheating problems (busted aux fan), pero since nung na-correct yon balik sa normal na above the middle. Yung SIR ng kakilala ko slightly above din.
Ayos itong sa Sentra GSX namin (at di ko naisip dati): may tuldok sa gitna to mark where the normal level is. I guess pwede mong lagyan ng maliit na sticker sa gauge para lang may marker ka, imbes na yung squiggly lines ng temp icon (gawain ko dati)

ang laking tulong po nito sa akin. kaya pala tumataas siya tuwing high rpm's dahil may maliit siyang leak sa may top part ng radiator, maliit lang siya pero sabi ng mekaniko ko na kahit maliit lang siya enough na daw yun for my temp to go up. the leak was sealed na and my temp gauge is normal again! its just below the halfway mark...
