ganito po kasi...nun huli tune-up ko pinalitan ko lahat ng spark plug ko so bale bago lahat. then wala pa 2 months napundi yun isa tapos ilan araw lang yun isa pa uli. when i checked the plugs i think it's either oil fouling or carbon fouling. pero kung titingnan maige parang basa e...so most probably oil di ba? tapos sabi nung iba tungkol sa inquiries ko kung nu problema malamang nga daw valve seals.
saka sobra lakas ko sa gas. very drastic ang change sa consumption ko. from +120kms/12liters naging 60-80kms/12liters na lang!

Are you loosing oil faster than before?
Carbon deposits can also be caused by overfueling or even wrong ignition timing. Do an elimination process from the simplest(AF mixture) to the most costliest(top overhaul). Check your air filters and valve clearance also. I think the symptoms is more fuel related problem.

normally valve seal failure will result in a smokey exhaust when revved. check it or have a competent shop take a look.

I think I have the same problem with jazcker. Kabibili ko lang din ng honda civic lx 94. I think 1 month old palang un. Consumption nya ay 6-7km/liter. Is this effecient enough for a civic?

Also, 1 time, I noticed na may white smoke na ini-emit ng car. Pero minsan wala naman. Pangit din tunog kapag kapapaandar mo palang. Pwede bang maging mas tahimik pa un. Although, ok naman ung sound niya, I just wish na mas tahimik pa. Possible ba un?

Medyo may vibrations din kapag idle e and when the aircon is on. Pero medyo lang. Possible bang maeliminate un? Are these all signs of valve seal problem? Worst case, how much would it cost me to have the valve seals fix?

    Thanks..

Bad valve seals, valve guides and valve neck will lead to excessive oil consumption.
Thinning liners, piston rings and oil rings will lead to excessive blow by and oil consumption. May hatak pa rin pero it burns engine oil already and compression capability will diminish.

does this mean na kung di ka malakas sa langis ok ang valve seal mo? since magpa-change oil ako ok pa naman ang level ng oil ko. by the way, i had my car checked by the mechanic sabi ko malakas sa gas. saka sabi ko rin may oil sa spark plug. nilinis lang nila yun spark plug, ok pa naman daw yun ganun. then, nag-adjust sa timing. i think binabaan nila. from 10 deg ginawa yata 8 deg. obserbahan ko muna daw.
