Honda Civic ESi
Continuous CEL - diagnosed already still continuous CEL lit.
May spark sa 4 na hi-ten, ayos ang fuel pump (nirekta ko sa battery), palit main relay, may redondo ayaw lang tumuloy. Baka daw ECU na may problem. Kung ECU nga, pano nasira? Katagalan? Faulty wiring/ground? Kung faulty wiring, san? Paano?
Baka meron malapit sakin na pwede ko dalin yung ECU ko sa EG nyo para ma confirm ko kung sira talaga ECU ko. Help.
Tnx.

June 27th, 2007 11:27 PM #3you have to know what the cel code is before we can be of any help. if you want have it towed to the shop and we'll help you resolve it.

yes i know. it doesnt say anything except for continuous CEL.
here were the steps i did:
1. key off
2. jump the diagnose socket (sure ball contact)
3. key ON
result:
continuous CEL (with or w/o the jumper wire)

Sabi sa notes na kung continous ang MIL ibig sabihin ay the back up is taking over. Another way to check the malfunction is for you to connect a working ECU which is what you suggested at the beginning of your thread.
Dont you have friends who has the same ride as yours that you can borrow from.
Sa Meralco at Samson meron kaming ginagamit pero ewan ko kung pahihiram.

July 3rd, 2007 11:09 PM #10assuming you're doing it correctly then it's probably a burnt box. pero i highly doubt it since medyo matibay naman box ng honda. so either have it towed or re-do the jumper.
of course! the former was more enlightening than reading the Holy Book. mom loved the Ten...
