    Hello mga fellows tsikoters..

Just wanna ask for some advise kung ano problem ng otobot ko..

any advise will be greatly appreaciated...thanks for the time in reading these..

    Thank you in advance...

You have just burn so much money to fix this problem but havent prevail, yet since all the changes and carburator overhauling this should bring your car in great shape!

Perhaps, not yet! The problem still there and disperately seeking help. Of course you dont want to burn a chunk of money to those money hungry mechanics and hear diff. story if they cant bring your car properly.

earthlykin, I was thinking the Cold Start Valve but not possible since this a carburated car. The only thing I can think of is your ignition system. You have changed the spark plug , overhauling your carburator but you havent change your Cap and Rotor and check also your spark plug wires for crack replaced it if nescessary. Check also your fuel pump relay if corroded, clean it or replace it. Good luck.

I would presume that your car is nearly a decade old....as such pede yung coil, high tension wire, vacuum advancer and carburator ang culprit.

It is kinda weird kasi - "nalulunod" - check if you see fuel flooding sa carburator area pag-nagstart ka at ayaw mag-start. If this is the case, try to start the car without stepping on the gas pedal.

Mayroon pa bang manual "choke" yung carburator mo? My oldschool car have this... so for a one click start, I choke the carb muna, pagka-start atsaka ko i-rerelease and choke slowly, taking note of the idling.

Yung naidrive ko na corolla dati na 2E carb engine (not a 4AGE like yours) have an "automatic" choke mechanism when you start it....since mechanical ito, merun tendency na magwear down ito.

    +1 on this.

based on your avatar, you have a corolla ae92. most models has manual choke (im not sure sa mga automatic, rare ksi ae92 na automatic), nasa left side just below the steering wheel. yung parang button na hihilahin mo.

pag cold start, depress pedal for 2 seconds then pull the choke and then start the engine. after around 30 seconds slowly ibalik mo na yung choke.

Carborator Problem - Cold Start - nahihirapan
