Car wont start

I just bought a sentra last week, 92 model, it was in a very good condition but problem is at times it wont start, it would just crank, this would happen 1 out of 4 instances, napa carb cleaning ko na siya sa rapide, then next day tune up sa servitek pero naulit na naman

actually nung tune up puro kalawang na yung fuel filter, isa ito sa pinagdududahan ko, how much po ba sa palinis ng gas tank,
o may iba pa kayang cause, kasi minsan one click naandar na then pag pauwi ka na from the mall patay ayaw umandar, kailangan may mag start ng key then choke ko yung carb

tol pa change oil kana sabay change yung oil filter mo.. pa check mo na din spark plugs mo.. change mo na din yan fuel filter mo.. pa check mo ignition mo.. dami possibilities pwde din battery.. basta... hehehe..

disconnect and reconnect the battery. Baka kasi yung lang ang problema. If the car starts (meaning hanggang ignition lang) but the engine doesn't run, probably its just the battery.

yes sir, tama po sila, tinging ko battery baka failed na yun battery at yun connector madimu na, check din yun spark plug. change oil, filter. tutal nagpunta ka sa servitek sana pina-check up mo na po lahat, para di ka masyado magastosan sa servitek, bakik ka ulit don then pa- check na lahat ng problem sir.

I think its around P1000 to P1500 and takes around half a day if you have to take down the entire fuel tank.

tol, medyo complicated yan sa tingin ko fuel related,pero check mo rin ang spark at volume ng fuel if ok lahat carburator yan ...

pwde rin sa timing kasi pag mababa yung timing hindi mag andar.

check the starter or at least have it cleaned

hard starting? does it crank? if so, most probably fuel supply problem. get that fuel filter replaced would be a good first step.

if it doesn't crank.. weak battery, bad starter, starter solenoid..

Update Ko lang po

Ok naman yung batteries 12.9 volts pa, napansin ko lang pag ayaw mag start pag ipu push back mo yung servo ng aircon na tumutulak sa gas umaandar na siya ( habang may isa pang tao nag turn ng keys and tapak sa gas ), twice na nangyari

related po kaya o natsambahan ko lang wala pa kasi akong masyadong alam sa gasoline engine
kung ito nga po paano ba ito na rerepair

fuel filter and fuel pump ata yan.. eh pra ayaw mag bigay ng gas kaya ganun. IMO lng

Obviously may problema somewhere sa fuel system ng car..kung ok na ang carb, check the fuel pump tipong malapit ng bumigay ito dahil sa sinasabi mong ichoke pa para umistart.Then maari ding sa fuel tank baka nga madumi or sa fuel line. If you found out that the fuel tank is faulty, linisin mo ang buong fuel line at siyempre ung carburetor ulit.....good luck!

check fuel filter pati na rin spark plugs. pati timing.

baka fuel pump problema nyan,try mo gawin to,kung ayaw mag start ng kotse mo,have somebody to crank the engine sabay hampasin mo ng malakas ang fuel tank,as in malakas na malakas, kung umandar ang kotse mo eh fuel pump ang problema,ang mangyari kasi sabi mo may kalawang na yung fuel filter,marahil barado na rin yung fuel pump,at paghinampas mo yung tanke kakalog yung fuel pump(kung ang pump ay nasa loob ng tanke)matataktak yung mga dumi at para makapasok yung fuel,,,,if yun ang prob,palitan mo na ang pump sabay palinis ng tank.

Mukhang naka ilang buwan na rin yung thread, sana naman by now na-start na yung Sentra

oo nga,eh kasi hindi naman inupdate ng may problema kung ok na ang car or fix na yung problema,sana if you have a car problem(ignition,etc..)iupdate nyo naman if ok na or di pa para di naman pabalikbalik ang thread,...
