busted 96' civic side mirror

mga peeps,

pa tulong naman. my sister's car, a 96 honda civic, got vandalized yesterday. basag yung salamin at housing nung right side mirror niya. apparently, she was parked at the up parking lot fronting palma hall when it happened. pati nga yung right passenger door merong guhit.

would anyone have suggestions as to where i can get a surplus side mirror for it and how much would it cost? (its a power side mirror po) nagtanong na rin ako sa ibang banawe shops at medyo kamahalan. they were quoting me P6k for it.

how about if only the vertical movement of the power mirror is disabled, what are the possible problems and solutions for it? ok naman ang horizontal adjustment niya. it's also a '96 civic vti

when you adjust for vertical, do you still hear a whirring sound? baka ok pa ung motor mo, baka nag pop out lang ung plastic ball joint that pushes/pulls the mirror.

ako kailangan ko naman sa kaliwa, natangal kasi ang salamin at natangal yun ball sa pagkakalagay sa mirror sa dalawang motor nailagay fo yung isa pero yung isa hirap akong ibalik, kaya ngayon yung up ang down gumagana pero sideways hindi manual ang galaw, meron bang gumagawa nito?

just push it down until the ball snaps back into the joint.. dati pilit kong hawakan ung ball part, while pushing down the mirror, pero impossible. nainis ako, tinulak ko ng todo, aba, nag snap! ganun pla talaga pag install nun.
