July 12th, 2010 12:41 AM #1Hi there!
I drive an X5 and lately I've been noticing a small rust-like stain sa driver's side mirror niya. At first glance para lang siyang dirt stain pero its like nasa inner layer siya nung mirror. Anyone knows kung what's causing that? If it'll continue to 'grow'? And kung maalis pa kaya yun?
Thanks!

I don't have a solution to your problem but it seems to be pretty common to Euro cars. It also happens to Benz side mirrors.
Don't know if its related to having a heater element behind the glass or what other cause.

yes sa inner yan ng mirror, sort of a photochromatic element yan to reduce glare, unfortunately lalaki ng lalaki yan and you need to replce it.
