i can name three reasons for the foaming :
1. overfilled with atf.
2. wrong type of atf used.
3. restricted or plugged transmission.

My bet is that you have over filled your tranny with atf. Have it drained immediately cause it would lead to serious problems with your a/t. Foaming or bubbling is one sign of an overfilled a/t.

Same speculation, overfilled tranny.
Drain right away.
I've updated the AT FAQ for your reference.
