you want to find out if it's really effective? Double blind test... put it on a car and don't tell the driver it's there... ask him to record mileage for a few weeks... take it off (in secret!) and then let him continue taking down mileage...
I'm willing to bet that the variance between consecutive days will be bigger than the variance between modified and unmodified.
the problem with the idea of gas saving devices is that KNOWING it is there makes us drive differently... kung conscious ka sa gas mileage, you can increase your mileage by 2-3 km/l JUST BY CHANGING YOUR DRIVING STYLE. It's a fact. The more you think about mileage, the more conservatively you drive, whether you notice it or not.
