possibly. throttle body, over time accumulates dirt particles that hinders the throttle plate from moving freely. thus, affecting the movement and eventually malfunctioning since the throttle plate might get stucked. this throttle body is the one that regulates the airflow (think of it as a throat). but you have to bring it to the specialist to pinpoint the problem.

Ah ok. Anyway, hinala ko may kinalaman sa idling. Tried tried stepping on the gas while in full stop, transmission in D and/or R, and aircon both turned off and on. So far the vibration still noticable but barely you can feel and tolerable.
Pero dalin k nalang sa pagawaan. Atleast my idea ako about the possible problems. THanks. Baka meron pa dyan... na d nadaanan na dahilan and solution. Hehe.

? try mo muna. honda may idling problem? didn't even see an adjuster to raise/lower an idling speed. yun din ang problem ng LXi ko before nagloko yung idling nya. imagine, erratic ang idle speed ko, first, pag bagong start, animo nasa drag race 0 -2.5k rpm, then eventually nawawala when i blip the throttle, then minsan nawala then bumalik ayun ayaw na laging nagrerebolusyon ng kusa. then nung dadalhin ko na sa shop umayos. kaya lang ang baba masyado ng idle speed nasa 400 rpm lang.
pinagawa ko na. ayos na sya ulit.

[QUOTE=ineedmorehp]Already changed engine support and checked belts.QUOTE]
Ineedmorehp, I thought na-ayos na ito ni Cruven from your post sa ZEE/Cruven thread? I may have misunderstood. Any chance its your center engine support naman na (the harder one to replace), or the left one? I think we have 2 or 3 engine supports in our ESIs. I had a similar problem and I thought it was an engine problem already. Honda, though, simply replaced the left engine support. The vibration was significantly reduced. It almost felt like a new car engine. They said though that my center engine support needs replacement as well (did not have enough time to replace it then). They said its the one that causes a quick jerk feel as I shift in and out of D or R, plus some of the remaining vibration feel.Last edited by Autobeat; February 20th, 2006 at 03:25 PM.

Went to SPeedy: his mechanic told me idling, timing, and idle-up are ok. That's all they mentioned. If the problem still persist they will push thru w/ TB and intake manifold cleansing.
Went to Cruven: to fix my suspension prob. Asked also regarding the vibration problem. Same findings w/ SPeedy's mechanic AND he mentioned brake bond (sa dulo daw ng matic transmission) - will be checked if it can be adjusted or replace na.
