    Guys,

    napansin ko kapag tinatanggal ko yung terminal ng battery for about 2 minutes tapos kabit ulit, ang sama na ng takbo ng kotse ko. akyat baba ang idle ko. kahit maikling andar lang tapos apak sa cluth babagsak ang idle ko to 300 hangang halos mamatay.
    pero after 1 hour or more of continous driving eh babalik na sa normal. kaya tuloy apak ako ng apak sa gas.

    94 Lancer Gli po.

    ano kaya problem nito?

    maybe the ECU hasn't adjusted it's settings yet.

    disconnecting the battery is also resetting the ECU, so once you reconnect it and ran the car, the ECU is still relearning the optimum settings for your vehicle.

    so is this normal?
    pero ang tagal naman halos 1 hour?
    may backup battery ba ang ECU? para in case na tanggalin ang main batter kabisado nya pa ang settings?

    hmmm.kahit anong kotse ba yan basta fuel injected? ganun pala ung mga may ecu?backup battery? none that i heard of. alam buti na lang nabanggit mo. hindi ko pa naman napapansin, sa ride ko. minsan i-try ko nga sa Civic LXi yan.

    hmmm.... you have a point, matagal nga ang 1 hour.

    hmmm... as for the backup battery, AFAIK wala siya nun.

    Malamang nga nag-reset ang ECU. Walang back-up yun. So lahat ng soft memory niya mabubura.

    Pero kung bakit matagal siya bago nakapag-adapt, siguro ay dahil may mga sensors ka na hindi na functioning properly. (e.g. O2 sensor, cranshaft angle sensor, etc.). Dami kasing sensor na pinagkukunan ng readings ng ECU. Nakakabaliw.

    bad trip nga eh!!! from monumento to makati bago sya maayos. hirap pa naman mag-drive. parang laging mamamatay.

    Sa susunod na balak mo bunutin ang battery, place a 9V battery connected to your cigarette lighter, para may backup at di mawala ang memory pati ng radio. :D

    it's normal for the computer to reset pero di naman dapat maging ganyan sya. have you done anything to your car? rewiring, etc? if so baka yun yung dahilan kung bakit ganyan.

    no rewiring done. nag-dagdag lang ako ng ground. pero before that ganoon din na yun.
