    - Ano yung steady miss?

    -ano ibig sabihin pag mag start ako ng engine tapos hindi agad kumagat. Malapit na madiskarga battery? sparkplug problem?

    I think it means miss-firing. So one of the cylinder doesn't fire. Papangit nga ang mileage nun. Sparkplug problem is just one of the possible culprits for this problem.

    Yung starter pag hindi "kumagat" usually means ayaw mag-engage ang starter gear sa flywheel gear to rotate the engine. Thus it is not likely a battery or sparkplug problem.

    Pero yung general description sa tanong mo na - "pag mag start ako ng engine tapos hindi agad kumagat" could also mean that your car is probably is not tuned properly kaya ayaw magstart agad. Ipatune-up mo.

    Sir suv... I think the link answered your question about steady miss.

    On the second question, about hindi kumagat ang starter... kung malakas ang baterya may problema ang solenoid ng starter o grounded ang starter.

    Any auto shop can check this... maski yong mga nagrerewind ng starter pwede mo pacheck. Mura lang to.

    sir in laymans term ano steady miss? newbie talaga ako basic lang alam ko.

    I mean ano yung first obvious problem pag may steady miss? Hindi ko pa rin ma-gets ano yung steady miss.

    steady miss - miss, wag kang gagalaw, steady ka lang...hehehe.

    Seriously, pag naka menor yun engine mo hindi pantay yun rpm niya. it might have a +/- 200 rpm. Kung baga may palya at nginig yun makina. Could be a dirty/dead sparkplug, a dirty carb/injector/fuel filter or simple a dirty air cleaner. Pede rin may leak vaccuum hoses mo.
