guys, what do you call the pipe line under the airfilter case?



is this some kind of water filter? does it need some kind of maintanance like cleaning?

Either it's a catch basin for water or a resonator... probably both.

On my diesel's air cleaner there's a hole on one end probably the lowest spot (it's not flat on the engine, it's at an angle) and I guess it's for draining water.

those are normally resonance tubes so hindi mo marinig yung higop ng air. no need to clean excessively naman. punas punas is enough.
