one of our cars na nabaha came back from the shop. did a check and like i expected, iba na sya. mas maingay at parang di ko gusto idling. most likely visit ko chief mechanic ko (different from the shop na umayos after nabaha).

i was also thinking of doing an oil change after 1000 km. too long ba to or after 1 week na lang?

btw, lets assume selling the car is not an option.

your advice will be appreciated by everyone. lets all learn.

Pagnabaha kasi sasakyan maraming mga parts ang mag cause the stock up .

pa tune up mu na lang sir, and pa check sa ibang service mechanic if meron namiss ang gumawa diyan. however, some stains and pains will be permanent due to the aftermath of the phenomena.

And not next week or after so and so km reading but immediately.

Abrasive and in time lahat na merong friction, say bearings, axles, belts, pistons, etc. na meron nuon expect them to fail earlier than usual.

Sa US pag nabaha ang kotse hanggang dashboard they consider it a total wreck or totalled. At statistically almost all na nalunod duon (yung sa Katrina) e nagluko after a few weeks to a few months kahit nilinis pa. Electricals and the electronics will go nuts in a few weeks. The mechanicals in a few months.

Kung tumagal kotse natin, swerte (or gumastos tayo ng husto) natin!
