accelerator not working?!

hi!

i noticed that my lancer glxi is not working properly. akala ko nun una e hinde lang tama ang tapak ko sa gas kasi pumo-pugak-pugak pag apply ako ng gas.

nabibitin sya tapos ayaw umakyat ng rpm ko kahit anung tapak ko sa accelarator.

nag-try din ako ng nka-idle, ayaw mag revolution - nasa 1K rpm lng sya, hirap sya umakyat - actually ayaw tumaas ng rpm.

san kaya ang problema nito?

baka putol na yung cable from your gas pedal to engine. check it.

kung putol na, tatakbo pa ba yun?

kasi nai-byahe ko pa from rosario to buendia, back and fort. naiuwi ko pa.

actually, naramdaman ko ito nun papunta pa lang - nabibitin ako kala ko ako lang. nun pabalik, na-takbo ko pa kaso panay shift ko pataas kahit mababa lng ang rpm ko.

magkano kaya ang cable?

Most probably throttle cable yun, mura lang naman yan.

In my older vehicle, lumuwag lang yung cable and nagkaroon ng excess slack. Parang sa brake ng bike.

I just adjusted it by the roadside and was on my way again.

there's a lever in the air regulator where the cable's connected, try mo imove yun. kung magrev, cable lang malamang problem, if not and if parang kinakapos pag binomba, iba pa problema nyan. better have it checked by a certified mechanic.
