February 17th, 2006 06:16 PM #1Hello fellow car owners!
wanna ask if my car's windshield can still be fixed. need help in finding a windshield repair shop.
and also i noticed that mid 90's civic models have this problem in the roof frame. rust spots appear almost monthly since this car turned 12 years old. what kind of body repair does my car need?
need your help folks. thanks and more power to tsikot.com!

Sakit ng Civic yan, kalawang sa bubong, have seen soooo many of them having that problem. You need to get that fixed asap otherwise no choice ka but to cut and replace the roof.
Yung windshield, from the looks of the pic malalim na yung ukit... Hayaan mo nalang yan bro.

Well, you might be lucky then, coz punta ka HCP and you'll read a lot of them... Sa bayaw ko kinakalawang din under the doors, sa shop lang namin we see a lot of them.

Yup, the rust spots are in very, very similar in locations sa lahat na nakita ko.

same problem with mine.... babalik din yan kahit pa paint mo kasi yung bracket bar sa ceiling area ang affected not on top of the roof.

we had rust issues as well on our EG civic (LX) bought in 95...
it developed rust on the wheelwells after only 1.5 years. ack. one of the reasons it was sold early, we usually keep cars for about 3 years. our ae92 corolla before never got any rust in the 3 years that we had it.
and the glass issue, kaya ba ng rubbing compound?Last edited by nugundam93; February 18th, 2006 at 03:23 AM.
Or none of the above? We've had Ferraris and Lambos burn in SLEX and NLEX in the Philippines...
