Please help me decide. I'm choosing between either going for a Ford Everest (3.0L, 4x4) or a Montero (3.2 SE) because of its "flood-clearance" (i.e., height). Which vehicle is better? I pass up on the Fortuner because I find it, even its latest model, as "matagtag".

The ride of the Everest isn't that great, but it's passable in the front seat.

The Montero is definitely the most comfortable in the class.

I'm not sure about the Montero's flood fording capabilities. The Everest's ride height is pretty good, and the ECU is water-sealed (lots of friends who've recovered flooded Eveerests with minimal cost... at least minimal cost in terms of engine/ECU repairs... cosmetic repairs... water soaked seats, etcetera... are another thing).

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

To me, Montero is so common on the road, it has lost its appeal. (period)

Thanks. I'll be driving it, which is why comfort, maneuverability and responsiveness are a must.

Where do you intend to drive the SUV? ... provincial? or just in the city?

I would get the new Everest anytime..

I've never driven both, but the Ford "looks" way better and prettier than the other.

Which new SUV to buy?
