This is the Xylo(heavy and aging) mpv replacement. Vehicle to be launched in the next 18months. It'll have a new mFalcon1.6 Diesel engine co-developed with Ssangyong or a 1.99L mHawk diesel engine. I'm hoping it gets an Aisin 6sp AT.
Engine is in a transverse layout indicating a FWD drivetrain. Not a ladder chasis, hope its more comfortable. All-new platform is said to be developed at their Mahindra North American Technical Center (MNATC) in Troy, Michigan. From the proportions it looks bigger than the BRV and slightly smaller the the Innova. Maybe an 8seater?
