mga sir baka meron sa inyong naka-experience na ng ganito... bigla na lang tumigil yung speedometer ko at odometer reading and umilaw din yung sa engine electronics indicator at abs. ano po kaya ang possible na sira at papalitan dito? sabi ng pinuntahan kong mekaniko yung sensor daw na nasa ilalim ang kailangan palitan. iisa lang daw kasi ang connection nung tatlong ilaw. tama kaya yung diagnosis niya? magkano po kaya ang price ng ganitong piyesa thanks in advance to all fellow tsikoteers... kulang pa nga sinabi ko... yung rpm ko masyado din bumaba around 600 to 700 rpm after umilaw nung abs at engine electronics indicator. sana may makatulong satin dito. ang hirap kasi magpagawa agad at magpalit kung hindi sigurado sa diagnosis knowing Opel parts is a bit pricey. may epekto din kaya yung pagpapalit ko ng spark plugs when i tune-up my car 3 weeks ago? hindi na kasi original yung pinalit.

Ibalik mo yer old spark plug. At mag backtrack ka, just to troubleshoot.

    If no change, call:

FRONTE MOTOR PARTS - Banawe, Quezon Cityl. 3-B KABIGNAYAN ST., COR. BANAWE ST. QUEZON CITY. PHONE NO. 7120864. 7120919.

They have in house mechanics for Opel there.

Or you can try Wilson, Opel specialist 09157688016,

    Or Dennis 09079759346, 4734670

Having been an owner of Opel Astra for 10 years I learned a lot from fellow members of club opel philippines and mechanics as well.

Here are certain rules to live by when you own an opel

1)First thing to remember is don't immediately buy what you are told to buy especially kung mamahalin ang spare parts. Always ask for second opinion. Experts commit errors too! So hold on to your money first before buying those spare parts

2)If there is a check engine lighting in your car. Have it scanned and ask for the result of the fault code which was reflected in the scanner. Problem with some car owners is that they immediatey buy the parts only have the same problem afterwards. Meaning the part which was bought was not really the problem in the first place. Can't count any more how many times it happened to others

    3) There are many sources of spare parts. Some of them are already mentioned. I will to add a few more suppliers for the benefit of others.
You can try twincell at virra mall in greenhills - tel number 723 96 06.

Now you have more choices. The more suppliers the more prices will go down which will benefit the opel owners!

    4) Opel owners can survive without sticking to one or two mechanics. I can bet that I spent less in parts and services than most members and yet my car is still in tip top shape! Why?! I don't stick to one or two service provider/s.

    5) If you plan to stick with your opel for a looong time. I strongly suggest you go get yourself a haynes manual for your opel. It's worth your money
and if you are a DIY guy, this is a perfect book for you. Even if you are not a DIY guy like me, you will still like the book coz it will give you tons of info.

Baka ma bore na kayo sa haba ng thread ko. PM me na lang for questions or just simply post it. Will try to answer it if I know the answer. Like I said, I'm no expert. Just a long time opel owner and opel enthusiast like you.

    cheers
    silvermags
