June 12th, 2004 07:42 PM #8united mileage plus (star alliance), dating gold member, ngayon e iron ore na lang hahaha! naubos ko na mileage ko, 2 round trip ticket to US, 2 round trip to saudi (ginamit ng utol ko), 3 round trip to fiji (utol ko din) saka isang LA-Tokyo na round trip (ginamit ng auntie ko). naka-benta di ako ng ticket once sa friend ko, round trip to US. ngayon 35,000 miles na lang natitira sa credits ko, good for 1 round trip to southeast asia na lang.
malalapit na lang kasi byahe ko kaya hirap na mag-ipon ng miles.

Tulad ng Gulf air nag iisue sila ng voucher equivalent ng mileage mo at 3 yrs ang validity.

hirap makuha ang senator class.. kasi you have to log in one year (jan to dec) minimum 100k miles!! 35K miles lang sa FTL.. with automatic 2 years add-on card validity upon maintaining 35K miles credit within 2 years of membership; 25% bonus miles for economy class & 50%(?) for business/first class
pag putol, say july04 to june05 ayaw i-credit yong july 04 to dec04 or jan05 to june05 na mileage; dapat january talaga umpisa bilangan til dec.
benefits:
*while on journeys - libre ligo, toothbrush, shave, snacks, alak, beer, tubig, basa news prints, tv viewing, sleeping couches on airport business/senator lounges (sa NAIA? hwag na! tyaga nalang ako sa predeparture area.. masisira lang ang mood ko sa byahe)
*others - non expiring miles credits, free airline tickets, equiv miles for hotel stays, car rentals, etc., free items corresponding to no. of miles worth
sabi nila sa EMIRATES it's more easier to qualify with lesser mileage accumulation plus me hotel booking if your journey exceeds certain mileage limits..

Mas madali sa Qatar airways. 20K miles silver ka na 50K miles Gold na (highest membership level).
Plus the mileage requirement para makabiyahe ka sa mga destination/route nila.
