You have to go to POEA Name Hire Department, they will ask for your contract and visa.

Then they will scan their database if their are less than 15 Filipino employees that they see, then you will be issued a document for PDOS, after which you can now pay for your OEC.

If there are more than 15 Filipino employees already in that company then they will refer you to an agency, and the agency will do all the work for you.

Just remember, Overseas Employment Certificate is what the Immigration will check if your visa is a working visa. No OEC, no boarding.

(Im not sure if the reckoning number is 15, in my case the University where I work have 5 existing Filipino employees at that time)

    Hope this will help you.

as long as you have poea 'oec' there should be no prob,,,at the moment partial lang yong ban applicable sa newly hired, if you consider yourself a new hire included ka sa ban...do you have some legal documents like valid contracts,visas,etc....if so some immigration officer can help you even though you haven't got oec.

Hmmm...ayos yan at eto ang mga kailangan mo para makakuha ng STR (Subject to Regularization) visa going to Nigeria.

    Personal mo na gagawin
    1. NBI
    2. Authentication of School Records, PRC and other certificate. (CHED, Malacanang, DFA).
    4. Passport
    5. airline ticket
    6. CV

All in all mga 3 weeks mo yan aasikasuhin.

    1. Original Visa Request letter addressed to Nigerian Embassy Manila from hiring Company.
    2. Expatriate quota.
    3. Appointment letter from Nigeria Appointing applicant for the position.
    4. Acceptance letter of the applicant.
    5. Contract fully signed by both parties (authenticated by Phil. Embassy in Nigeria) kaya yung company ipa-authenticate pa niya yung contrata mo sa Phil Embassy. Pag di authenticated...sorry na lang.

At least kung via SEA nation lalabas na mag tour ka doon tapos after three days lipad na to Nigeria via Qatar or Dubai.

And it's another story na...

Now kung magtataka kung bakit ko alam...well.... been there and done that.. even before the deployment ban.
    Good luck

From work site to mainland (incoming at outgoing) naman by helicopter. Then local airline to Lagos. Now if Shell, ang tanong saan parte sa Nigeria? Bonny, Warri, Okoloma, or within Portharcourt area.
