since we're on the topic of 4x4 conversion and bumpers, i have some questions:
1. has anyone here experienced riding a gu patrol converted to 4x4? did the additional weight make a big difference in handling and fuel consumption? how long does the conversion take?
2. on bumpers, would the additional weight of the bumpers make a difference in the play of the front suspension? what are the specs on the lighs that come with the bumper?

Halos wala namang madadagdag na weight sa frontend ng Patrol if you go 4WD. Because almost all of the parts are there. Spindles, the propeller shaft and yung shifter na lang yata ang kulang.
On Pajero's you'd need to tweak the torsion bars a bit kung medyo luma na yung unit to compensate for the added weight. It doesn't really make much difference in the overall ability of the suspension to articulate.
Hindi ko na po alam ang sagot sa ibang katanungan. Sorry. :D hehehe.
