a quick browse at their forum, parang hindi naman masyado napapagusapan ang diesel and 4x4 sa board nila.

your right there are two models available for patrol, normal and hard. hard is for additional front weight bullbar, winch. and so is the coils. the coils have two heights 20mm and 50mm for meduim load. you can also add spring spacers 15mm and 30mm and packers 10mm. btw normal and hard shocks are available for most 4wds. will try to get the picture maybe monday pa, im a little busy.
confirm nyo if the GU and GQ have the same prop shafts, may isang kilala kami na may chassis with engine and suspension ng GQ patrol surplus. maybe you can buy the whole thing and may rear lockers pa and baka may rear stab disconnect, hmmm ungas can have the ... and boybi can have the....

[B]boybi::: Pumunta kami kanina sa Nissan UN Manila, kasama ko sina OTEP & chieffy. Inusisa namin yung 4x4 conversion. Yung kasama sa 210K conversion ay front prop shaft, front diff internals, front locking hubs, and 3rd row front facing seats. It only takes a couple of hours to fix everything daw. Dadalhin sa planta then pag balik 4WD na! At kasama na rin dun yung pag usisa namin sa bagong X-Trail on display. :D Kung meron lang sana akong 2.1M, haaaaaay...

rodcarolino::: Yes, that includes axle, oil seals, ring/ pinion gears and etc. Better make sure kung surplus ang makukuha nyo sa front diff, na kapareho ang final drive ratio ng front and rear diff gears. Imported diff units vary from 3.375 gear ratio to 5.29 ones. Magkakaroon kayo ng problema pag di ito pareho, tension on your whole drive system when operating on 4WD mode, ie; transfer case gears, prop shafts, front and rear diffs upto your tires.

boybi: i was planning on changing to hid lights and then adding fog lights. I figure I'd spend about the same just changing the bumper and I'd get almost the same lighting advantage (with the additional driving lights and foglights) plus get stiffer bumpers.

meron akong nakatabi sa parking kanina same model and color na patrol pero A/T sya. sinukat ko yung height nya dun sa wheel well as compared to mine, mas mataas sa akin ng 1.5inches front and rear. pero i did not change my front coil springs, rear lang. meron bang effect sa height ang shocks? pero baka madaming karga yung isang patrol kaya mababa height nya?

I don't have proof but it seems like the CRV shrank from the previous generation.
