I need to replace my front and rear shocks. Is is advisable to have it rebuilt in cruven? It only costs 600 per shock. A brandnew Kayaba costs P2,500, Brandnew Taiwan for P1,300. Which is the best option? Does anyone know where to get cheap but reliable shocks?

Personally I would rather get a new pair of KYB shocks. They are durable enough so they should last quite a while.

    Rebuilt shocks don't last long.

You could also look for surplus shock absorber assembly (coil spring/ shock absorber) if you are on a budget. I already made a canvass at Cruven previously for underchassis parts rebuilt, and found out that they are more expensive than brand new parts. Better look for a good replacement brand of shock absorbers.
