Pros and Cons of a 17" mags sa Nissan LEC-PS

I just got my second hand nissan LEC-PS last night. Makina and aircon mukhang ok naman and mileage at 96K pa lang. The only thing that concerns me is the mags, naka 17" Original Schumacher Mags (Dont know kung tama spelling ko) sya. Sabi ng iba maporma lang daw pero may cons sa pang ilalim ng car kapag ganito ang mags.

Is this true?

effects of 17" rims:
- rough ride
- heavier, results in increased fuel consumption

yun lang naman. yung mga pangilalim, it depends if the car is lowered or not. if it is lowered, it is still ok, but there is an accelerated wear and tear of suspension parts.

imho, if you are comfortable with the cons of it, retain mo na lang muna. medyo mas mahal lang ng onti ang tires nya.

Assuming the car wasn't lowered, the problem with the 17inch wheels is the slightly more uncomfortable ride and increased fuel consumption due to heavier weight of the wheels.

Also, the cost of 17 inch tires are expensive. It would be better to replace them with the stock wheels (if you can find a set) of the LEC or similar sized alloy wheels of between 14 to 15 inches and matching tire size.

Tagtag primary complaint ko when I shifted from stock to 17" mags. Iba talaga pa rin kasi pag makapal ang goma. Fuel consumption minimal lang on my vehicle ang difference kasi.

Thanks Guys, I am considering of selling or trading my mags to 14 or 15 pero siguro mga after 4-5 months na. for the meantime enjoy ko muna looks ng car. semi lowered yung car and ok naman so far ang steering.

Btw, I got for 120k, ok na ba yung price nya for this car?

bro sa kin galing ung sentra (LEC of CNS/Razcstar sa SCPH).
for me wala akong issue about sa tagtag kasi nai-travel ko na yan sa ilocos twice using ung "torno" shox nia sa harap. naminimize naman ung tagtag and ung fuel consumption naman is very minimal ung difference. ganyan na yan since sept 08, and la naman ako issue about sa pang-ilalim or anything (siguro kasi sa alaga and c5 lang ung route ko)

if you want, trade mo na sa kin ung 17 mo sa stock 13 nia, para if ever makahanap ulit ako sentra yan pa din ung gagamitin ko.

sa akin, no need to replace it muna. i-feel mo muna yang 17's mo. pag sawa ka na, tsaka mo na lang palitan.

gaya nga ng sabi dito sa thread, andito na yung seller ng car, wala naman naging problema.

sa case naman ni ernani, la na sia dagdag gastos kasi un na ung gulong nia
sa tagtag, di naman issue sa kin nun kasi nadeliver naman ng "torno" shox ung promise nia
