May 9th, 2012 09:16 AM #1i have this b13 of mine which seems to be problematic.. upon engine start up, tachometer reaches 2000 rpm then drops to 200 rpm after approximately 15 seconds then eventually shuts off.. we had the Mass Air Flow sensor changed, the Distributor changed, Fuel Pump changed but still, we end up with the same problem.. what seems to be the problem with this engine? i need your help guys..

Aside from the MAF, other possible culprits are a dirty PCV and intake plenum (TB). Try cleaning those and have the car engine scanned as aforementioned.

agree ako syo. battery dying will be the next owner's problem. kaso the only reason I'm buying...
