Power Steering problem for Nissan Terrano

Hi Experts, Need your help. Nagkaproblem bigla yung power steering ng Nissan Terrano namin.. Maingay sya sa una when turning then after few days sobrang tigas na sya iliko.. Don't know about cars. What could be causing this? Many Thanks!

malamang naubos ang power steering fluid. there must be a leak somewhere. it could be sa hoses or sa pump mismo. ano terrano mo, diesel o gas? kung diesel, check the cylindrical container sa may likod ng battery (if you're in front facing the engine). ito yung parang silver can na may black cover. check the hoses that lead from it kung oily siya. the hoses will also lead you to the pump (yung may belt driven pulley). sorry di ko kabisado layout ng gas engine.

kung hoses lang, kelangan lang i-recrimp yung ends kasi yun usually ang bumibigay. kung pump mismo, marerepair pa yan kasi may nabibili namang mga repair kits (seals, gaskets, etc.).

Thanks for this Coiter! I'll check the cylindrical container and those connected to it. What would be the worst case if pump na talaga yung problem? How much will it cost me? btw diesel ung terrano namin (Subic). Thanks Again!
