    Hey guys,

We just bought a Nissan Xtrail Recently. A quick question to other Nissan Owners out there.

What is the mileage you are getting? Mine is 2.0 4x2 Xtrail and it is consuming roughly 5 km/L. I am just wondering if others have the same experience.

The Xtrail is a really sweet ride for me. Good suspension and the handling is just superb. No regrets except for the mileage part.

Same model but ours is doing 6 km/L. Check your tire pressure. Also using Petron unleaded.

Take also into consideration where you drive the car and your driving habits (traffic, heavy foot, etc...) Check also with the owners manual on what the minimum octane requirements of the Xtrail are.

ano yan ct driving or long distance.kung ct driving pwede yan ma consider, dahil naka satandby ka sa heavy traffic. but if you are travelling long distance, then you are driving more than 100km/hr..so malakas ang gas mo dyan..

What's the typical fuel consumption for an X-trail A/T? Just asking... kasi, I'm considering getting a 2nd hand one.

For X-Trail 2.0 4x2, city driving, around 5km to 5.5km per liter. For highway driving around 7.5km to 8km per liter. Mas malakas and gas consumption ng X-Trail compared to CRV (2nd Generation) and Outlander (2nd Generation).

^Not in my experience. My ride (2006 Xtrail 2.0 4x2) gets about 7km/li in city driving. About 9-10 km/li highway (NLEX & SCTEX).

4x4 mode in city driving?! Baka hindi tumagal yang 4x4 mechanisms mo. Don't you feel any diff binding?

Sa pagkakaalam ko magkaiba ng 4WD mechanism ng X-Trail, parang sa Patrol part time 4WD function.

May auto mode ang 4wd ng X-trail. When you put it in that mode, it will automatically activate the rear axle when sensors detect the need to do so.

But it still will run in front wheel drive most of the time.

I'm getting 8.6 km/l on my 250X. There was a time when I did a little less than 8km/l, that was when I tried a tankful in "Auto" mode. Perhaps the 250X consumes less? Mabigat ang paa ko when driving... up to 170kph in some parts of the NLEX.
I've travelled almost 4k km on it already. On the 5k mark, what gives?

Yes boybi, parang ganun na nga. But on the X-trail you can totally turn the 4wd system off if you do not want it or keep it on for the times that you need it. Unlike sa CR-V which is on automatic mode all the time.
