caloymd: i changed my tires to 225/70/16 and maintained the orig mags. i was looking for a tire size of 235/65 or 235/70 pero wala available. i changed the tires kasi i saw in the states that compact suv's like the escape and tribute used 235/70/16 tires while rav4 used 235/60/16, and they look better and i guess, they perform better than the smaller 215/65/16. Nagtitipid yata Nissan dito kaya they use smaller tires. hehe
anyway, the guys here informed me that the odo was affected with the change in tires, by 5.2%.

but if you want the 235/70/16 tires, Price Smart have them, Michellin ang brand, P7t each.

ILD: magandang idea yang DIY -- dapat talaga mas hands-on, takot lang ako na baka di ko mabalik sa dati, haha. Pero pag simple lang try ko din.
Kmo: actually di ako masyado mags-oriented, gusto ko lang MALAKING tires, hehe. Nagka-bad experience ako once papuntang Balay resort sa Anilao, dala ko CRV ng dad ko (granted pangit talaga gulong nun) at sumunod ako sa F150 at Trooper. Nadudulas yung CRV, umabot din naman pero after that parang gusto ko na ng AT tires.
Yung sa stepboard iniisip ko pa, kasi kung gagawing family car xty ko baka makatulong sa mga lolo at lola, at sa anak ko din pag naglalakad na.
Di ko alam yang mga HID na yan, eh. Pero baka pag nakita ko yung sa inyo gagaya na din ako, hehe.

ok ako basta eb ang mga xty owners. ok ang the fort (kahit malayo sa amin ). no problemo ang blue wave. kung sunday tayo lets make it a brunch eb. kung weekday, ok na blue wave maybe thrusday.

Usually tatawagan ka ng planta after your Service and get your feedback. Yung last service ko nak ng weteng mga 30 mins ako naghintay sa resibo ko, tapos yung kotse ko nakapark na sa parking lot nila sa labas instead of the service bay which should be the standard SOP, then papapermahan ka ng sekyu ng release form na hindi mo pa nachecheck sasakyan mo. *&^*($#**##&&* nila!! Yan ang complaint ko nung last call sakin ng Planta ewan ko lang kung sinabihan nila.
