Heto po ang alam ko (which could be very wrong):

UMC will bring in the X-Terra. Whether they will classify it as ang AUV is still unknown.

NMPI (basta yung car-department ng Nissan) will bring in the X-trail to compete with the Forester and RAV4. Medyo upmarket kumbaga.

Yung X-terra truck chassis and will most probably be diesel powered like most of UMC's offerings.

Yung X-trail car chassis and gasoline powered for sure (UMC ang may hawak sa lahat ng diesels). Baka all-wheel-drive pa.

Parang Urvan at Vanette lang iyan.

otep::: if di sila magka-presyo, thats good. But from what i read in car mags, medyo nag-ooverlap ata price nila depending on trim levels. :D Actually im looking forward to the xterra:D

Baka nga mag-overlap. Consumer's choice na lang kung car-based or truck based sila.

Pero malamang makakuha ng tax-break ang Xterra if they pull off what Honda did to their CR-V.

The X trail is only a couple of inches smaller all around than the CRV. Goodluck to Univeral Motors in making ten people fit hehehehe :lol:

Yung Xterra ang malamang gawing AUV. Yung Xtrail ilalaban sa Forester at RAV4.

Dalawa kasi ang Nissan dito sa atin, eh. UMC which sells the Patrol, Urvan, Frontier and other truck based products and NMPI which sells the cars and car-based utilities like the AD Resort and AD Max.

Malamang po pareho silang maglalabas.

Xterra = UMC
Xtrail = NMPI

i bet you also dont know that NMPI is not operated by nissan in japan but rather nissan in taiwan. thats why we get the verita here.... a taiwanese variant of the nissan march. trivia lang :D

once, bago mag-grocery sa hi-top, pinasok ko benz dealer sa tabi, magiliw naman salesrep, kaya lang big turn-off talaga nang sabihing 100% benz product po talaga yan (tinuturo yong musso) sabay abot ng standard na quote. At sa quote na yon, nakalagay na benz decal 5000 pesos. Nice try :D :D :D
