I would rather have a Patrol with no free wheel hubs but with 4x4.

i think it serves a purpose. since the hub is unlocked the diff gears will not turn inside. maybe he doesnt want to see the flange on the diff turn when the vehicle is moving. and to top it off he does not have to change the gear oil in the front compared to locked hubs, together when changing the rear gear oil.
and who knows he may have a surplus prop shaft and shifter waiting in his house.

most probably yung hubs ang wala syang mabili sa labas yung ibang parts eh meron na :D
Mahal... alam ko ang Warn hubs costs 8-10K each. Kaso wala namang sukat para sa Patrol. Hybrid hubs kasi not like ordinary hubs na lock and unlock functions. Hybrid hubs have auto and lock only.
Pero kung hardcore naman, ok na din yung yung mga branded na manual like Warn, Superwinch, AVM, etc. Sobrang mahal ng 35k for something that you can do on your own (which is get out and twist a knob).

Those headlights alone will cost you 100k. Di pa kasama tail lights, grille, bumper and auxiliary lights.
all the lights costs only 50K+, they're giving me 10% discount, so mga 40+K nalang.
yung grille, 17K, yung emblem sa grille (hiniwalay pa!), 1.8K.
yung side mirrors with integrated turn signal leds, 36K/pair

the updated 2003 model of the Patrol GU came out sometime August 2003... it's essentially like the older "presidential edition" with the only difference being that it has integrated fog lamps in the front bumpers (not present in presidential ed.) but doesn't have the presidential ed's bull bar...
got my gu early sept. 2003 (pre-excise tax) so it is already the updated one...
