Nissan vanette club.. is there any here?

Guys, Im a vanette owner to. Wanna join your club? I have a 96 model vanette. Im from Bulacan.

good day, bago lang ako sa forum na ito, sana nga may mabuo na vannette club. I own a 95 vannette, palagi ako nate-tempt palitan ng ibang unit pero di ko magawa, napamahal na kasi ako sa unit. problema ko nga ngayun ang rubber window sidings ng van. medyo sira na kasi at pinapasukan na ng tubig. meron ba kayo alam mabibilihan nun? salamat.

I'm a new member in this forum. I own a vanette as well, a 97 model. Got it 2nd hand just last week. When my dad and I took the van to its new home, i noticed the van has a strong engine.. perhaps comparable or stronger than an L300 during its time. I think that's due to its high torque nissan vehicles are known for. Ang lakas talaga humatak!

Hearing owners of vanettes complaining on overheating, I was a bit anticipating the van might overheat while taking it to its new home where i live, Las Pinas City. By the way I got the van in Laong Laan Manila where the seller resides. To my amusement, knowing the distance i traveled and the moderate to heavy traffic the van went through, the van did not overheat.

Since its a 97 model, restoration have to be done. The rubber sealings of the sliding windows (don't know what it is called) have to be replaced. I also have to change also the sealings of the windshield. There are leaks in those areas of my van whenever it rains. The interior panels of the sliding door have to be replaced as well.

Nissan Vanette Club is a good idea! Lets go for it!

^^^ If you have any issues with your A/C and since you're from LPC, like me, then I would suggest that you bring your ride to CeeJay's, which is about 50meters from the Shell Gas Station/Perpetual Hospital along Zapote-Alabang Road when going to Alabang. The Vanette is one solid ride. Congratulations!

just got a 95 nissan vanette and i am having it body repair and painting....restoring it to look like a new one trying to be...
well in about 2 months matapos na sana and hoping there will be a vanette club soon... will bookmark this forum and check on it in the future....more power to VANETTE owners

here is the updated pic of my vanette.......
have finished with the body repair and good thing wala pang masyadong rust....still fresh and this is the first time to be painted...replaced the complete clutch system, new starter motor, replaced it with more powerful 90 amp alternator (orig was jsut 60amps),
i am looking for new window rubber since marupok na mahirap maghanap even in banawe and pasay....maybe you can help out me in sourcing these parts

hi mga bro, xion here vannete owner din 96 Z20 / pre baka may alam kayo magaling mechanic na pede mgtransfer the condenser at magdadag ng aux fan/ sbi nila db un ang solution sa hi temp/ pede naba un kahit d ko na papalitan ng 3 rows ang radialtor nya? / im from manila baka pede give kayo exact location ng motorshop?? un subok na ah.. thanks in advance...

I had this done on my Vanette some years ago.

Shop who did this is CeeJay's here in LPC... It is in the general area of Perpetual Help Hospital and Uniwide MetroMall along Zapote-Alabang Road

I have a problem with my nissan vanette... twice na ko nagpalit ng ignition coil, platino with condenser, and resistor. pero umiinit parin yung ignition coil. pag mainit na mainit na yung coil namamatay yung engine.... please help.... thanks.

Guys na encounter nyo na yung ganitong kaso sa pag shift ng 1st gear sa vannete? yung sa akin everytime mag shift ako ng 1st gear ang hirap ipasok, ang tigas ikambyo, pero sa 2-5TH gear ok naman, basta naka full stop then u start to shift on 1st gear, yun ung problema ko..napalitan ko na yung gear plate pero ganun pa rin..

michaelszky, pina check mo na ba clutch disc? I had the same problem before. changed the disc and okay na.

Must be the synchronizer, bro.... At full stop, if you go second gear first, and then you transfer to first gear without lifting your left foot from the clutch pedal,- does it go in smoothly?

well go to surplus shops and look for a fuse box kahit ibang make.....sometimes mas maganda pa mahanap mo and same naman ang purpose alam ng electrician yan...i'm planning to change mine din nakakakita ako fuse box ng camry very nice puede daw convert sa fuse box ng vanette
