yes its true, sa tibay at lakas super tested ko na nissan urvan, mine was a 2000 model 2.7 engine sold it last year with actual mileage of more than 600k.... kasi pinaparent ko and with proper care and maintenance di ka iiwan, change oil every 5k, 40k naman sa gear oil, 40k power steering fluid replacement, 40k brake fluid,..... me and my ka tropa sa min who happens to own urvan shared common problems and kami kami na din ang nakalutas para maayos para tumagal pa urvan namin,.... kung meron kayo problema sa urvan nyo baka sakali lang mga bro eh makatulong just let us know, 2 po ang naging urvan ko at ni minsan di ako nakaranas na maitirik o masiraan sa daan except flat tire....

guys just to add my 2 cents.. ang uvan is really under powered,i guess im saying this because i own a TCI starex and the difference is really noticeble. but i know of an urvan nga pinalitan ang engine to a 3.2 surplus engine from japan. and that i would have to say is the best match for the urvan.. i think ang 2.7 is really underpowered when you are carry a full load..

i have nothing against the urvan,,in fact ive always liked them. but when i first drove one with a full load of passengers it was really underpowered.. but ever since i drove the one that had a 3.2 engine, ang sarap eh drive..

honestly speaking thou. im just dissappointed at nissan for being behind in the engine departments of their vans. pati pa naman ang estate walang turbo..

One of the things i like in Nissan Urban when you used it as Rent A Van . The Aircon is really cold even when fully loaded with passenger.

ganda talaga lamig ng aircon ng urvan...pero make it a point na regular cleaning ng aircon system para ma maintain ang lamig and another thing is ang mahal ng parts niya kaya kelangan alagaan...maski ang cooling system ng urvan ay ok din pwede ngang gawin hotel un ng di nag iinit makina....

ok pala tong forum na toh mg kakaroon ako ng kaalaman dito, sir p*jeri tanong lang required ba talaga mg palit ng gear oil every 40k pinapacheck ko sa mekaniko ko ang ok pa nmn dw ano kelangan ba mg dag dag o palitan lahat ? nag paparent din ako 2007 model ung akin thanks

anyone know where i can get surplus parts for the urvan? i need a power steering pressure hose & brake master assembly. used a replacement brake master assy and it didnt last a year.

personally, these are items i would not buy surplus...

Just fabricate the pressure hose. It' costs around Php800 sa Rizal Avenue hose stores.
