medyo malakas sa gas ang galant, i think 2.0 yun though maganda sya (lalo na yun galant gti na stock blue colored).

If you are tight on the budget, avoid 2.0 liter (or bigger) engined cars.

Aside from the Nissan Sentra, you can also try looking at the Mazda Familia 1.3, it might not have the same engine power as its 1.6 variant but its very spacious inside and smooth suspension. Also cheap to buy.

rbt, stick with stocks. OK yung LEC, matibay at matipid pa sa gas. Kung me cash ka pa ng konti, look for Series 3 na 1.6 or 1.5. Mas Ok ang ride at performance. Goodluck.

dos litros ay masakit sa bulsa. My friend owns an accord and a sentra. sarap daw dalin kaso fuel consumption is bad. Kaya most of the time yung series III na EX nya yung dala nya. tiped sa gas and best erkon. Pero pang out of town trips pa din nya yung accord, minimal yung engine vibration at high speed! swoooosh!

Chief, check out Nissanbayan.com ... lotsa Sentra guys there.

The interior of a Sentra is prone to more rattles when compared to a Corolla but on the suspension side, comparable siya to Toyotas and Hondas. A lot will depend on the driver/useage of the car.

Stock car would give you lesser headache. But' don't rely on that, there are still things to know about it like, service records, and historical problems.

    pa-OT...
Sa mga ads na nakalagay ang lady driven car, I really don't get rely on that, kasi baka maka-tsamba ka ng car na lady driven, tapos ang alam nung lady na 'yon is jut to sit and drive, and have no idea what is change oil and radiator, etc... 9car basics)

i beg to differ... I used to drive a sentra series 2 for 8 years. No more rattles or squeeks than our honda civic or mazda familia.

Sentra,... wala lng masyado ngtitinda ng spare parts nya at medyo mas mataas compared sa toyota... all in all, IMHO mas masarap syang emaintain as stock compared to some other cars. Nice aircon.

Marami namang parts ng Sentra... not hard to find, but you won't be able to buy them on every street corner, like Toyo and Hondah...

I've never had problems finding parts... medyo mahal nga lang compared to Toyota, but not as bad as Honda prices.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Yup, parts are more expensive compared to others but I think its durable because all are genuine parts.

    Just my 2 cents.

guys suggestion naman,I'm looking for a 98'-99' Super Saloon.mga magkano value nito kung lets say first owned and stock.
Pinagiisipan ko kung mag Sentra SS or Toyota EX or GLI ako(kung kaya).what would you suggest?
siguro budget ko 200-250k kaya ba? I trimmed my choices to these 3 after reading the threads. If you have recommendations I will really appreciate it.First car btw and a newbie. Thanks in advance
