Hi to all. Seeking for you humble opinions regarding which unit is the best buy for me. Can someone tells me the pros & cons of the aforesaid units. Parts, reliability, ac performance, fc, etc. will use as a daily car. Thanks in advance!

Nissan ako, newer model plus parts are not scarce dahil madami taxi na ganyan.

Nissan for me. That's 4 to 6yrs younger and for the best a/c. Summertime is coming!

Nissan GX for me, because i already driven this car. Just don't get the Automatic. Lack of power and worst fuel economy. What i like sa GX over the city is mas spacious sya and of course freezing air condition. Parts and reliability same lang, magkakatalo lang sila sa performance and fc. Mas heavier kasi ang body ng Sentra GX.

it's a taxi favorite, po.
maraming pagkukuhanan niyan. banawe... evangelista.. pasay rotonda.. pedro gil.. casa!
it's probably much easier to maintain this over the honda accord.

and because it's a taxi favorite, some of these ex-taxis might be passed off as private units and not ex-taxi units.
yung accord, siguradong hindi ex-taxi.

i would go for the city, because of its riding comfort, features and fuel efficiency.

if it's durable enough to be used as taxi, i have no doubt on its durability as personal car.

A Sentra GS model will be a better choice over the GX model. It has more features and more powerful engine for about the same or better fuel efficiency.

Key pain point of the Sentra N16 platform is to check its front suspensions regularly (every 6 months). The chassis is quite heavy (1200kg) and those small rubber bushings up front degrade with how bad our roads are. My old N16 Exalta Grandeur was a comfort cruiser and sound insulation is very good. It may not be quick to accelerate but the ride is relaxed and comfortable.

Thanks egan101. One last thing guys. I'm nearly close to closing the deal, i followed all the tips u gave me. Just wanna ask, for a model of 04-09 model of sentra's. Does mileage of 100-130k km ok for that model. Meaning not that abused regardless of hiw well kept by the previous owners?

09 model - 8 year old car. 130k km= 16250 km/year = around 45 kms/day, 22 kms one way... i think its around average.

Nissan Sentra 1.3 GX 2005 din ung sakin, first owner at 11 years old na. So far no major problem. bumigay lang radiator after 11 years. AC malamig na malamig pa rin. Parts murang mura madami sa banawe baka nga sa mercury meron din hehe..

Yung FC i think average lang. di matipid di rin naman ganun kalakas although never ko sinukat ahahaha.. Pang harabas na kotse kahit san mo dalhin di ka mapapahiya.
