my 1997 sentra EX had problem once. engine would die upon decelerating from higher speed. i even became an expert on bump-starting, because of this. but dangerous...
and it wouldn't idle in the garage for more than a minute or two. (when it was newer, the engine idled for over half an hour, because i forgot all about it.)
i tried cleaning the maf, etc. nothing doing.
then i brought it to a shop specializing in, among other things, nissan cars.
the mechanic took a look, rpm'ed her, then twisted counterclockwise my air bleed adjusting screw by 1/4 turn (that huge purple screw under the air cleaner housing, to the right of the engine).
problem solved.

it also improved my km/li figures. from 8, going back to the original to 9-10.
