patulong po.. i came from la union last night going to baguio.. it happened na hindi ko napansing tumaas na pala yung temperature ng sasakyan.. huminto ako para palamigin makina pero nung lumamig, ayaw nang umandar.. sinubukan namin i-jump start, umandar naman pero kaninang umaga puro redondo na lang.. ayaw na talagang umandar.. thanks sa inyo..

Ano yun cause ng overheating? Have you check the water inside the radiator and coolant resevior? Nacheck mo na rin ba yun oil?

yes sir AKI125.. tapos may sumisirit na tubig sa baba ng oil filter.. yung oil, ok pa naman po.. kagabi po kasi di ko napansin lumagpas na sa red mark ng temp gauge yung indicator hand.. ano po kaya possible na natamaan dun?

Based sa story mo cranking pa rin naman yun engine, right? Ayaw lang mag-run talaga.

Daming possibilities:
Fried ground wiring
Stuck up internal part of an engine
Fried sensor nearest to the engine like TPS
Damaged soleniod switch sa starter or sa FDIC( air control unit sa intake)

yes sir, cranking po sya ayaw lang talaga mag run.. na check ko na oil, ok naman po.. no signs po na naghalo oil at tubig.. ano po kaya natamaan dun sa may sumisirit na tubig malapit sa oil filter?

Sir if my memory is right, its a busted water pump. GNC na brand is ok for a replacement water pump

i do not think a busted water pump will prevent the engine from starting. i am afraid there is something else very wrong.. i just do not know what.

check nyo din yung electronic fuel pump... kung nag overheat yung engine pwede maka affect yun sa pump kasi yung gasoline na bumabalik dun sa tank from the engine eh mainit

Sir pag binuksan ba yung radiator cover tapos lumalabas yun tubig instead parang hinigop possible water pump issue din? kakabili ko lng kasi ng 1992 eccs. Pansin ko pag start ko kahit sa morning kahit 10 mins palang syang umaandar around 75 degress na yung needle nya. diko alam kung normal lang to sa eccs or may problem na.

May good point po si sir yapoy na to check the fuel pump. Since cranking naman siya ayaw lang tumuloy puede rin na damage yun fuel pump.

Actually i have no idea na as to much muh a water pump cost nowadays. Years back if im not mistaken nasa 2k yata. Pero dont take my word on it with regards sa price ha kasi its been years na rin i sold my sentra.

may possibility po kayang fuel pump sir? nag over heat po kasi, lumagpas pa sa red danger zone yung kamay ng gauge.. thanks po sa advice..

I cant really tell right now if your units needs overhauling. Why not first resolving the non starting issue. Dont buy yourself a fuel pump for now. Once the engine is already running have an expert mechanic check the engine if there was damaged done by the overheating internally. If walang damage yun internals ng engine mo then proceed with the purchase of the water pump. Kung may damage you have 2 options, neither have it overhauled or replace the enfgne with a surplus one(cheaper option but more paperworks) you need to report the engine swap to the LTO. Think positive, solve the problems one at a time.
