anu po pinkamaganda ipalit n engine sa oto ko.. GA14DE ung nkalagay sa knya ngaun..

gusto ko po sana palitan.. anu po ung best n ilagay n my mbibilhan p ko n sure n di ko n kelangan gastusan ng malaki..

Forget the SR18. If you're already spending, just go straight to the SR20DE.

Don't forget to upgrade the rest of the car to suit the power.

Naalala ko yung barkada ko dati na mekaniko... May inayawan sya na trabaho kasi gusto lang ng may ari ilagay palit lang ng 2.0 liter EFI na makina pero ayaw magpalit ng break ... kargado konsensya daw nya pag nadisgrasya yung makulit na may ari kaya hindi nya ginawa

SR20DE but make sure you can find proper front axels that will fit your b13 Sentra without the need to fit/weld them.

mga sir.. mga how much po kya need ko prepare if i opted to SR20 including all the changes i need n baguhin sa oto.. mas mganda po pa turbo o ung DE lng.. tapos saan p po kya ako mkakabili good quality n engine.. newbie lng po kc ako in terms of car.. thanks po sa mga advise...

If newbie ka lang sa car, baka masyadong overkill yung SR20DE sayo?

Changing the engine is no joke. Dami mong kailangan i-consider and you really need to have a deep pocket para okay lahat. Sayang lang if you cheap on parts and repairs. Baka madisgrasya ka pa.

just like renzo said,

kung newbie ka, hayaan mo na muna yung stock engine, kung hindi pa naman palitin yung makina, pwede na yan to start with,
know the basics ika nga, your heading agad sa tuner's territory with inadequate knowledge, mahirap yan, baka mas mapagastos ka pa sa huli, and worst, masira mo pa yung makina mo kinabit if hindi mo pa alam gagawin.

stick to the basics muna and do a lot of research and ipon ipon pa budget at the same time, para pag ready ka na, alam mo na more likely sa pasikot sikot na gagawin.

Btw, engine plus tranny dapat palit mo ha. I dont think kaya ng GA14DE tranny ang SR20DE engine. Also, dont forget na kelangan ayusin mo din paper works ng pag reflect ng new engine sa CR. Minsan hassle yan. Goodluck.

Thanks mga sir sa mga inputs... pero based on your expertise mga bossing, di nmn ako in particular sa power gusto ko lang maayos yung takbo ng kotse po without hassle, which will much better po pa overhaul ko na o engine swap po kung ang icoconsider po natin ay ung klase ng engine n mkukuha compare sa paoverhaul and the longevilty ng engine.. alin po mas kya mas tatagal. salamat po...

Proper overhaul will result in a dependable engine. But the amount you will spend would be the same as an enbgine swap.

nasa akin n po ung car ng 1 year pero mostly erpat ko gumagamit. pangmalapitan lng.. pero one time dinala ko xa sa manila kaso ng whitesmoke xa at ngbabawas ng engine oil ng pinacheck ko xa.. need daw ioverhaul.. kaso im thinking n plitan nlng engine kesa paoverhaul kc tumawag ako sa nissan for the genuine parts mejo mlalakihan din eh...

Actually, mas malaki gagastusin mo pag nag-engine swap ka.

It's not buy engine, put engine, drive.

It's buy engine, put engine, fix engine, tune engine, buy other stuff that should go with the engine...

And your sources should not be CASA. Dapat alam mo agad where to buy this and that.

I'm not sure kung may SR20DE sa Cinco (tama ba?) Cubao. Pero should you push through with your plan, yun.

Just please, please don't forget to upgrade your brakes. Getting into a possibly fatal accident is the last thing you'd ever want.

yes sir. i was just thinking n if mgbaklas ako engine genuine ung ipapalit kya tumawag ako sa casa.. pero mga sir if i opted to buy engine anu ung mga normally n pinaplitan sa engine. and mga how much kya aabutin.. estimate lng mga bossing if pati ung need ko bghin aside from the engine will be considered.
