post measurement ng grille sa bumper, might find some here.
for sir OTEP -- meron nga. kaya lang kung ipatayo mo, the bulb points upward also. the best i have seen is the rectangular bulb of the honda jazz foglamps. pag tinayo mo, aba straight ang bulb. however, hindi ko pa na test ang illumination direction nito
for sir ARB -- sige, will try to get the measurements. more or less parang 4" x 2" (height by width)
hmmmm, pag wala talaga, eh di mag ARB sahara bars, hehehehe![]()
sinabi ko na nga sayo e, bakit ka pa magpapagod dyan sa maliit na ilaw na yan kung may plano ka naman mag ARB saharaOriginally Posted by 111prez

I'm just curious, the GU/Y61 Patrol Owners Manual contains pages on how to operate the sunroof, if the unit is so equipped...but i really haven't seen any Patrol with the sunroof, in person or pictures in the web. Meron nga bang ni-release na Patrol with factory-installed sunroof? C! Mag buyers guide does not even mark the 'Sunroof' for the Patrol as Optional.
Way back when I'm still making up my mind what to get, those with moonroofs really caught my attention...like the Trooper, Escape, Tribute or the Ford RS to name a few...
nissan patrols in japan, australia and dubai have standard or optional sunroofs.

sa mga GU TDi owners, tanong ko lang.
i read in other forums that the turbo sa diesel needs to be cooled down before shutting off the engine.
is this also applicable sa mga patrol natin?
if so, how long do you keep the engine running before shutting it off?
in my old gen 2 paj, i did not "cool it" down yet i never had any problems with my turbo. and to think that at times, i drive about 3 hours straight and upon reaching my destination, i just shut off the engine

Afaik, all trubo diesel engines need to cool down before shutting it off. It would help lubricating the spindle while your partner takes her time to put on her beauty stuffs. Then alight the vehicle at the same time.
prez...according dun sa mga threads, kelangan daw...around 1-2 minutes. may mga binebentang turbo timer P5K-6K yata. yong iba, si misis or ang gf na lang gamit nilang turbo timer..hehe. my alarm comes with turbo timer, so yup i'm currently doing the cooldown thing...
Boy Torotot/Ungas -- naku po, kailangan ko palang baguhin yung ugali ko
salamat sa inyong mga payo
saan ba makakabili ng turbo timer para sa patrol or is this turbo timer "generic" and one kind is good for all kinds of turbo diesel engines?

Sa banawe sir marami. Pero i'm sure meron din dyan sa may makati around the karplus area. Sa kabilang thread, Apexi Turbo Timer recommended.Originally Posted by 111prez

so, i would surmise that kung city driving lang and crawling at a snail's pace and stop ang go traffic, siguro mga between 30 secs to 1 minute lang ang cool down
however kung galing ka sa hiway at todo hataw, baka 1 to 3 mins naman
the manual does not really define what it means by "operating at high rpm for an extended period" and what it means by "few minutes"

i only cool down after i drove very fast like sa NLEX. but if city driving lang, hindi na ako nagccooldown. 125K kms na odo ko, and so far feels like new pa rin naman
PS: just got home from an offroading adventure sa rice field ng isang friend ko. lots of mud pits, tapos biglang umulan ng super lakas, sarap!

Mga patroleers...ano pong standard tools and kasama sa Patrols nyo? Nagkawalaan na stock tools sa patrol ko, yong tire wrench na lang natira at isang 'tire lock' ba tawag dun para di gumulong. Planning to get a hydraulic jack na lang sa True Value or ACE, since 3thou+ sa nissan ang hydraulic jack replacement, compared sa 1thou+ pag buffalo or kyk brand. Ok lang kaya mga jacks na to? Or meron talagang specially made for patrol, since medyo mataas ground clearance nya?
