tama si sir boybi. it is very easy to locatethe MAF sensor. it's the assembly with the wires that is right after the air filter. you wont miss it. you need a hex screw (or known as a flower wrench, size 25). just remove the wires, remove the screws and you pull out the whole MAFsensor. just spray liberally with contact cleaner until you see the metal glisten again. i just cleaned my maf sensor this morning and from a sluggish acceleration and 120 kph only maximum speed, acceleration greatly improved and i was able to do 150 kph on the skyway this morning. puede siguro mas mabilis but with a 2 inch lift, medyo conservative lang ako

total DIY cost: about PHP 350 (for the contact cleaner), my labor and the assistance of a friend who had the flower wrench

Parang malinis pa yung MAF sensor nung buksan ko but sprayed it with contact cleaner just the same. Yung bang 150 kph mo naka off ang O/D?

tama ka bro. it is a star wrench although some repair shops refer to it as a flower wrench. make sure its the one with the hole in the middle. tama ka rin na size 20 pala. buti nalang yung set na nabili ko may size 25 at size 20 at ang size 20 pala ang swak. and to think na hinahanap ko ay size 25. yung 150 kph ko ay with O/D on. advise ng nissan sa akin ay to keep the O/D on always so it is always on even on regular drives

syanga pala, ang hirap talagang hanapin yung star wrench na yan na may butas sa gitna. wala sa ace, tru value o sa DIY hardware shops and concorde car shops. wala rin ito sa auto supply shop and hardware shops along evangelista in makati city. i was able to buy it only at this hardware cum electronic shop located at the 2nd floor of virra mall in greehills. nakalimutan ko ang pangalan ng shop but its the one beside toy kingdom. you cant miss that shop. the brand of the star wrench set is Duwell and i bought it for PHP 150. the set contains that following sizes: 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, 20, 25, 27.

there is a warning sticker beside the motor oil filler not to use synthetic oil in the ZD30 engine.

Madami kasi naeexcite sa synthetic dahil mahal. hehehe. Nagkakaron ng misconception that tons of cash equals 'always better'. And of course, the non-stop sales talk of shops/people selling synthetics.

Baka pwede pa saluhin yung synt. :D

bro -- okay rin naman ang mineral oil. i ran 10,000Km before the next PMS. however, i had the casa check the oil at the 5,000Km mark and it was still good. all they did was to add some more. at the last PMS, i used the regular casa recommended shell oil because i had my PMS done at a different casa and this one did not seem to have the conoco mineral oil
