111prez - bro A/T din ba ung nabili mong patrol? kamusta naman ok ba, pangit ba talaga mag automatic sa patrol ang alam ko diba iba ung gear ratio kasi pag A/T ung 1st gear nya ata parang nasa pagitan ng 1st and 2nd gear ratio ng M/T
. ibig sabihin ba nun pag akyatan medyo mahina kahit 1st gear pag A/T?

actually may nakita na kaming 2003 presidential ata 1.450 M pero pwede pa atang tawaran tapos 30+ TKms plang natakbo, tapos wala pang 2 years kasi december 2003 na acguire nung may-ari , kaya lang A/T at 4x2 e, ano sa tingin nyo guys is it worth buying ba?
i don't see anything wrong with the A/T if it's in good condition. i've driven the A/T patrol (mine's a M/T) and it drives a little bit faster in 1st gear. and like what Boy Torotot said, you don't buy the patrol for its speed. and with the A/T variant, you get leather seats and power front seats.

yup, a/t gets you the leather and power seats. masarap naman idrive ang patrol na a/t. well, i really haven't got to drive a manual patrol.

as for the a/t, pag yun ang kinuha nyo, pacheck mo agad ang a/t fluid, just to make sure it is still in good condition. all fluids should be changed at 40,000kms. but you can change it when you get yours even if it is not yet at 40k. (this is to give your tranny a longer life)

ah ganun ba, ok lang din ba i pang off road o kaya sa mga sobrang tarik na inclines pag A/T hindi ba nacocompromise ung power unlike sa M/T because of the gearing ratio?

about dun sa nabasa ko na meron atang nagkakaproblema sa turbo ba un dahil may ilang units na parang may problem paglabas sa factory but binenta na rin ng nissan, hindi masyadong accurate ung naalala ko but anyway ano ba pwedeng gawin para matiyak ko na ok talaga ung unit na binebenta? any suggestions

oo nga e nakita ko nga power seats ung sa harap, 6 way ba un, so wala pala sa manual variant un. ok medyo napapanatag na ako sa A/T. wla pa kasi kaming A/T na sasakyan e kaya mas familiar ako sa manual kaya na concern lng ako, pag pinacheck pala pwede na ba un sa casa. alam ko kasi nasa warranty pa kasi wla pang 3 years ung unit.

OTEP- tama ka nga kasi marami na akong naririnig na patrol na kung di nacarnap , nacarjack e. cheap ba ang 1.450 M or mahal for a 2003 patrol president series (not sure what it is called correct me nalang if its wrong).

ako bro galing rin ako sa pure M/T system (samurai, vitara, pajero gen 2, LC VX, patrol safari). i had to do some adjustment also

so far, i like the A/T system of the patrol. it shifts to the upper gears quite quickly (at 2000 rpm) and its a real ease to drive in manila. may M/T pa kami (starex) at sumasakit na ang paa ko pag nag drive ako sa manila traffic

tama si sir Boy Torotot, you dont buy an SUV for speed although it can hold its own against some vehicles. but street racing a patrol? off road na lang, hehehehe

bro - walang problema. you can PM me anytime. kaya nga nandito tayo sa tsikot para makatulong, at himingi rin ng tulong, sa ating kapwa tsikoteers

yung troll ko sa pic bro wala pa yun. after i took that pic, i also changed all my coil springs to OME at tumaas pa lalo ang patrol, hehehehe

the nice thing is that my fuel economy did not suffer. i am getting about 7km/L now on pure city and conservative driving with overinflated tires (o baka underinflated lang talaga ako noon)

bro - salamat ha, and nakakatouch naman ung sinabi mo

OME-Old Man Emu. Australian brand ng suspension components. They are known for their shocks and springs.

Manual Hubs (these are Warn Hubs, AVM hubs look similar):

With these hubs, you need to get out of the vehicle and turn them in order to engage the front axles and have front drive. To disengage, you just turn the knob back to the FREE position.

    Nissan Patrol OEM Hybrid hubs:

You just shift into 4H or 4L and the hubs will automatically lock and engage front drive just like your usualy auto freewheel hubs. Nissan hubs are hybrid because despite functioning like auto hubs, you have the option to manually lock them by using your lugwrench and turning the center nut towards the LOCK position. This eliminates inadvertent disengagements associated with auto freewheel hubs (e.g. when rocking the vehicle back and forth).

bro -- tama si sir OTEP. OME is old man emu. i got mine at rats 4x4 makati

as for the 10km/l, possibly siguro but mostly highway driving yan. my driving is 100% city and all short distances pa, i.e. between a 5 to 10 km radius only. i hardly get into the higher gears at panay stop and go pa. the overinflated tires helped a lot. dati, i stuck to 35 psi pero napansin ko parang kulang sa inflation.

bro -- okay yun. medyo expensive lang compared to the ordinary oil but mas matagal naman ang change oil cycle mo

so far, wala pang usok ang patrol ko and its been 6,000 km since my last oil change

ah un pla un, got it! thanks a lot malaking tulong talaga kau sa mga taong uninformed gaya ko hehe

edi pag magpapa 4wd conversion pala kami, mas maganda ba pag ung hybrid oem hubs ang gamitin rather than ung manual hubs?

OTEP - pag auto hubs ba nagdidisengage pag nag back and forth ka? un ba ung ibig mong sabihin sa sinabi mo?

40 psi is too much. the most should be 35 psi but i keep mine at 30psi.
