what are other things to look out for? especially if the patrol ran over 100k?

check mo yung mga stabilizer bars and bushings, the fan belt, ok pa ba mga tires? yan lang naiisip ko since sinabi mo naman na maalaga sa car yung owner.

boybi, thanks! he already told me that the tires need to be replaced.

on other side of tips and tricks:
Kung nalalakihan kayo sa turning radius ng GU Patrol nyo, try removing the bolt stopper that stops the turning of the wheels nyo and see the great improvement in turning (liliit and turning circle dramatically) and sa stock wheels wala ring rubbing sa wheel wells...ewan ko lang pag naka 285/70R16 na ang gulong kasi that is a 33" diameter tire na...we have tried this na sa Patrol ng bossing ko and works like magic.
Here's the 2001 Patrol that i am interested in.
it ran 102k and the owner replaced the turbo parts of the intercooler and the aircon ditioning system except for the compressor. He have it checked and was told that it is still in good condition. the asking price is 1M but i think i can still pull it lower. WHat you think guys?
bro -- looks nice and well maintained. of course, i am only basing this assessment on the pictureOriginally Posted by bilog
did you check the casa records also?

bro -- okay yang tip ah. what i did naman was to put a rubber cap on the bolt to lessen the metal to metal rubbing. its the same rubber cap used in the frontier.Originally Posted by wildthing
but removing the bolt seems to make more sense
mga troll guru, okay lang ba ito? the bolt must have been placed there for a reason so is it okay to remove it?

I did this to my patrol. Pero medyo alalay lang ako in overturning the steering wheel. The bolts served as steering stops. Now that it is gone, yung mga 33inchers ko na yung steering stop ko sa radius armshehehe

they are the joints near the end of the diffs, where the knuckle turns. when you turn you can see may round thing na shiny, inside is the birfs, they look like the CV joints of FWD cars only bigger.
