Kung meron siyang traction control ang navara maybe it was automatically disengaged when in reverse?

Standard ata starting from EL/EL 4x4 ? Baka pinatay ni neighbor ung traction control? Gumagana naman sya paatras magiiskid ng konti then titigil (mga half to 1 turn ng rear wheels) although sa semento un.

Gumagana ba yung traction control pag both wheels spinning?

Alam ko mag engage sya pag may speed differential from left to right, it brakes the spinning wheel to regain traction and transfer torque to the other side of the axle, pero pag both sides spining at the same rate parang walang basis yung computer to know which side to brake.

Front-to-rear wala naman magagawa yung traction control since it can't brake the transfer case. You have to lock the center diff yourself.

Not sure on the Nav but it seems the AWD totl strada will cut power if it senses a difference between the front and rear wheels even without the center diff locked, maybe the non-drive axle(s) are used as speed reference for traction control to modulate engine power?

probably he turns off the traction/stabilty control when he drives that time when i posted that question. Pero nung ito lang medyo mahina na yung wheelspin when he parks. Possilbly naka engage ang traction control niya.

kung siguro naka engage ang 4x4 to 4 high or even 4 low puedeng itransfer ang torque to the front wheels by traction control. Pag nasa 2wd, traction control apply brakes to either the left or right rear wheel when they spins/slips or when slips both rear wheels.

    Old: https://www-asia.nissan-cdn.net/cont...1597324609.pdf

Seems to be a solid upgrade all around, the EL's replacement do lose the the front and side cameras as well as the autodimming rear view mirror though.

Factory size is 255/70r16. You could just get the same sized A/T tires or a size wider. Closest M/T tires would be 265/75r16. They don't come in aspect ratio 70. If your farm has really wet, deep mud I'd get M/T's or hybrids para di maingay.

265/75r16 will fit no problem pero i've seen them first hand on "el" mags. if looks is also a cause for concern in my opinion doesn't look good. think balloons.

Imho aesthetically ang panget ng stock tires ng navara at terra. Looks small for their bodies. Not sure din kung bakit sila pcd 114 unlike their peers na puro pcd 139.

di lang yung gulong. pati mags ng VE Calibre na 17". parang steelies with covers yung itsura. The upper variants naman looks okay.

If the mud is the type that really sticks to the tires, budget not an issue and you don't mind a bit rougher ride, Nitto Ridge Grappler. If you want the best all around tire that has good on road manners and ride quality, Falken Wildpeak AT3W. I suggest you just get P rated ones for better ride quality. Load index should be around 11x. The LT ones have a load rating of 12x and will ride rougher. Both of these tires are still quiet on the highway.

Looks like primer + clearcoat but it does work for this car.

I've had the 265's on 7" wheels before, not ideal but pwede na. Di naman masyado mukhang donut. Sweet spot for me is 8"-8.5" wide for this size.

i can understand your point and i agree not ideal. in our case nakabili kasi ako used "el" mags with those tires. nilagay ko sa navara d40 sa likod. bukod sa medyo lobo yun sidewall lampas din by a significant amount yung mags and gulong sa tapalodo. no doubt medyo maliit talaga tingnan ang 16 lalo from the sides sa laki ng wheel well ng mga modern pick up trucks. subjectively speaking of course tingin ko masyado malapad yung gulong para sa width ng rim.

to the previous question about EL mags. i was able to take pictures of our d40 navara on EL rims. partida pa yan at 255/70-16. so kapag 265/70-16 figure plus 10mm mas malapad and taller sidewalls to boot. pwede kun sa pwede sa looks you be the judge.

^ EL 4x2? IDK with D23 but I replaced mine with stock 4x4 D40 tyres and doesn't protrude much or bulge. 4x2 have narrower fender flares on the D40 and 4x4 stock 255/70 is on 7" rim offset 45 I guess. (4x2 stock is 6" offset 55, 205 rubber)

i cannot be sure as i got this set second hand. i am under the impression this wheel set came from a d23 EL 4x2.
