Thanks for the reply. To those with the steering issue in their units, has it been resolved yet? Also, yung malakas daw sa oil pag bago, is this really normal and nothing to worry about?

Sir yung calibre ko mag 3 months na. And yes may naramdaman ako knock sa steering lumalabas lang sya sa humps. Pero hindi naman alarming kasi bihira lang syang maramdaman siguro sa sampung humps once ko lang sya maramdaman. Parang 1 out of ten ang ratio hehe. Solid ang suspension. Lamang lang talaga ang new hilux sa engine. Mas responsive ang engine ng new hilux.

So medyo common problem pala talaga ito. Any 4x4 VL owners here that experienced the same steering knock issue?

Planning to buy the 4X2 EL Calibre AT, how true yung cases na white smoke lumalabas sa exhaust? Nabanggit ko kasi sa friend ko na Truck enthusiast na plano ko bumili and nabanggit nga na may nakita sa daan na wala pang plate na Calibre at mayroon daw white smoke sa exhaust which is weird sa isang diesel truck. And hindi lang daw minsan ito na encounter 4 times na raw na may nakitang ganoon. He also added na mas ok pa if black smoke lumalabas kesa white. Also considering bago pa di ba dapat at least wala talaga dapat na makikita na smoke? What's your insight regarding this? Thanks in advance.

^^Baka yan yung effect ng sinasabi nilang kumakain daw ng langis ang engine. Don't know if it's true for the navara though but we have an nv350 urvan not more than a year old with the same engine, aside from the fact na naka-detune lang sya. We have not experienced that white smoke or anything similar to that until now and sana, di mangyari yan sa unit namin.

Baka malakas pasok ng langis sa intake via pcv>turbo. Oil catch can ang remedy.

I got the sport 4X4 VL about more than a month ago. so far ride is fantastic on day to day drives when speaking about comfort. still waiting for the steering knocking issue to come up. i tried loading it with floor tiles for my newly renovated garage and * 800kg or more it sagged. at humps it oscillates up and down something like four times. i think the stock rear shock absorbers aren't really up to the real task. mukhang di sapat ang damping sa heavier loads! i'm scouting now for upgrades in later part, ironman 4x4 ang na rekomenda *48k ang set. anyway, i'm loading it sparingly on daily trips.

Put airbag man sir kung magloload ka ng mabigat para mabawasan ang bouncing niya, sa express way 80kph+ ganyan din nangyayari.

May mga nakakasabay ako ng navara wala naman gaanong usok, okay po yung navara parang SUV hindi matagtag. Medyo bare lng sa bells and whistles pero after market na accessories marami naman. 6 months na np ko *30k km wala naman kahit anong problema. Medyo bare lng sa bells and whistles pero after market na accessories marami naman. 6 months na np ko *30k km wala naman kahit anong problema. Maliban sa knocking sound sa steering wheel, pero mahina naman at narerectify din ng casa. Mura pa PMS niya

Ramdam ko rin yan Sakin. Pero bihira lumabas. Mostly sa mga humps lang sya. Sa sampong humps mga minsan mo lang sya maramdaman.

Paano narectify Sir? Pinalitan ba ng casa nung sinasabing part na mas matibay? I read somewhere here na inaantay lang daw replacement part from Japan and not the one from Thailand. Kayo ba hindi na nagclaim ng warranty? Thanks.

Hindi naman issue sakin yang steering knock nayan kasi sobrang bihira naman lumabas at mahina tunog.

How is the NP300's compared sa previous gen (D40) ng Navara? I heard na maraming issues ang previous gen, naresolved na kaya yon sa NP300? Seems like yung katok lang sa steering ang nababasa ko. I asked a friend who used to own ng previous gen at puro regrets lang ang comment. TIA.

So far wala naman. 7 months na navara ko with 33k km. Maliban jan sa katok pero meron naman na nakasolve, back read niyo na lang.
