How do you like it so far? wifey just bought one (SL,FWD) pero di pa ako 100% sold (wife's love it). Maluwang talaga sa loob but any scare about the CVT? Pag natapos ang warranty at nasira ang CVT, magkano kaya ang charge the Nissan?

....sa kin, it's still expensive for a non-lux car (and it's my wife's-means she's paying it) and there's still no aftermarket para sa CVT. just wondering kung magkano ang cost ng extended warranty from nissan phils.

Dito sa Pinas, isang model lang ang meron para sa Murano:

3.5 V6 with All Mode 4x4 and Xtronic CVT (with 6-speed manual mode)

Regarding the CVT, it's very reliable.

Out of the thousands of Nissan Murano sold worldwide (they all come from only one factory sa Japan), only two Murano units have been reported to have CVT failures.

Ganun ka-tibay ang CVT ng Nissan (made by JATCO kasi which is the world's #1 manufacturer of CVT tranny & components)

    Very reliable indeed

I use to own an 03 SE AWD. Really liked it, got the extended warranty kasi di ako sure sa CVT since it was the first year. I traded it for an 06 Armada, di kasi kami kasya eh. Really liked the finish and ride of the Murano. Punta ka sa www.nissanmurano.org maraming info doon.

been lurking on the site actually and a lot of problems with the CVT occured mostly on the first year(2003) models and seems to be resolved on models 2005+ which is comforting. Well, having said that, i'm still not gonna buy a Murano pag ako'y nasa Pinas with a 2.+ million????? cough! cough! By the way, a redisigned is coming out on 2008 but will still remain as a 5seater CUV. And yeah, i admit im beginning to like it esp the back up cam, parallel parking seems easy now. I just wish we opted for the intelligent key + VDC but can't get it without adding the touring package(duh!), and to add the touring package with the premium/leather/sunroof package? i'd rather buy a Lexus RX.

A Lexus RX? That's just an overpriced Highlander. I see that you have an Xterra SE also, have you visited www.xterraownersclub.com and www.thenewx.org? Checkout the sites if you haven't already.

I don't think there's an extended warranty locally because we never got an offer.

May alam po kayong chip para sa Murano? Mahirap po ba ang installation/removal nito? Para sana hindi masilip sa CASA kung saka sakali.
