My 2009 D40 Navara 4x2 MT had a clutch failure at less than 4700 kms that resulted to the burnout of some parts there like the pressure plate, clutch lining and flywheel. Luckily nobody was hurt during this failure. It has never been loaded or towed for heavy loads and mostly used as a passenger car.
I've been Google for a lot of cases like this mostly users from Australia, Europe & Africa. And there is one instance that upon he bought his nav he had a clutch failure at 300kms and again at 3000kms. Another repairing mechanic told that the Nissan is fitted with a light duty clutch as standard due to the majority of vehicles never towing anything. Herewith some few links to issues like this.

Hoping that Nissan Davao will take it as warranty and Nissan should recall this issue like what Toyota did.
Thanks.
