Habol pa sir ng isa pang question. Planning to go to batangas this month. Medyo newbie pa kasi ako at walang masyadong alam sa car. Any advise po na dapat kong gawin before ko ibyahe to ng long distance? Any recommendations like kung ano po ung mga dapat kong patingin etc.

if that car has been with you for a long time and you already know its quirks, then just the usual checks, sir. "blowby"... whatever that means. i'm poor memory..
but if that car is newly acquired and previously owned... if it were my car, i wouldn't bring it out of the metro and away from civilization just yet... baka may nakatagong problema.. i'd have it checked in its entirety, then drive it around manila for a while... just in case something falls off..

^ make sure the spare tire is not flat/correct pressure & double check your tools if case you got flat tire on the road. I assume your car is in good condition. yan lang siguro ang naisip ko. enjoy your trip

Hi good sirs, my exalta had some troublesome past. Rpm running too low when driving over an hour, namamatay pag nkatodo pihit ang manibela, grounded, nasira alternator, nmmatayan pag ngrreverse esp pag nka aircon. Overheated twice but already had it semi-overhauled. And all of those mentioned above has been fixed... or so I thought. After that traumatizing incident (overheat) never really felt comfortable using the 'ac' especially in long drives. But sometimes when the sun is burning everyone inside,i have no choice but to turn on the ac. Question : when i have my ac on, i have a feeling the engine is having a hard time.. asked some people about it but they said it's normal. I know i'm not an expert but i think having this car for over a year now and driving it almost daily.. i'm the one who knows the in and outs of my car. In other words alam ko pag may "mali". Okay.. so many months passed by.. hindi ako nmmtayan ng makina. But last week on my way to quiapo, coming from marikina (which is a mere 30-45mins with light traffic) i used the ac the whole time. When i was passing by recto station, about to take a u-turn, biglang namatayan. 100% sure water level in my radiator is at optimal level, same with the coolant reservoir. So what do you think caused the engine to stall? Is it elecricity? Faulty airconditoning electrical? Battery issues? Or heating issues? Or maybe idle got too low? Please help. (Also take note the battery im using is still the small one, non-maintenance free and all the mechanics i've talked said it's underpowered) would that have been the probable cause? Im sooo sorry for my very long post. Hope you guys have the time to read this. And thanks so much in advance! Godbless everyone!

Hi Tigra! Gudpm! I'm not an expert but I had a similar experience with my exalta (namamatay pag naka todo pihit ang manibela) and some gurus in this forum advised me to replace the power steering switch. I bought one in Evangelista for 200 and it fixed the problem.

Pa check mo sir yung electrical if okay pa ba yung charging ng alternator or yung battery baka mahina na. Dun sa exalta ko dati 2sm yung battery na gamit ko.

Pahelp nmn po..yung gulong sa harap ng exalta nmn sa gilid yung pudpud nia..pina wheel balance at alignment na nmn..tas pinag palit nmn yung gulong sa likod.linagay nmn sa harap..den after a weeks ganun ulit...sa gilid ulit ung pudpud ng gulong...tas pag nasa express way kme..pag tumatakbo ako ng 110km up..ma alog yung manibela tas hnd centro yung manibela..pahelp nmn po..plss.tnx

it appears you tires are "oblong" na. out of round.. replacement is the only solution.
is it possible, the previous owner already transpositioned the car's front and rear tires before, for the same reason as yours?

also, you might consider changing alignment centers.. baka palpak na ang makinarya ng 'yan..

it appears you tires are "oblong" na. out of round.. replacement is the only solution.
is it possible, the previous owner already transpositioned the car's front and rear tires before, for the same reason as yours?

also, you might consider changing alignment centers.. baka palpak na ang makinarya ng 'yan..

Need your expert opinions po. Yung Nissan Exalta ko lately napapansin ko na puno lagi yung reserve tank ng radiator. Nde ko nman po nilalagyan... Normal po ba yun? Nde rin po nag ooverheat.

Kung yung radiator mo is full din normal lang yun. Pero kung hindi full yung radiator mo pero di siya nagbabawas sa reservoir you need to replace the radiator cap na. In some cases naman madumi na yung radiator.

mga paps newbie question.. yung speedometer ko minsan gumagana minsan hindi. nagpalit na ako speed sensor ganun padin. anu kya possible issue? ELectronic type yung sakin. exalta 2000 model. thanks!

mga master patulong naman ung exalta ko minsan gumagana ung speedometer minsan hindi tumitigil xa pag hindi sa 40 kph sa 80 kph minsan 0. nagpalit n ko sensor. anu po kya prob.
