Mga Sir, may alam ba kayo ng nabibilhan ng surplus engine support membrane yung pinag kakabitan ng engine support sa pina likod ng engine. Exalta STA 2000 model. ito po yung mahabang bakal from bumper going sa likod ng engine, super kinain na ng kalawang need na ng replacement. thanks

Best to buy the whole transmission sir and replace it so that you will have the warranty of 1week that goes with it.

yes, it can be repaired, but it will need expertise and specialized equipment.
as skyflakes says, many people "in the know", for less headache and expense, recommend complete replacement of the transmission box, with a surplus, working unit.

I read some previous post yesterday they said the surplus for AT transmission is 15k i don't know if this is the current price in todays market. Do you have a telephone no. for a supplier of surplus parts in manila or can you refer me to one?

Generally automatics with proper use and maintenance will run up to at least 300k kms and more. 2001 grandeur (totl) i think is already the N16 body. I think the price is just right but if you could haggle for 135k much better price.

Kahit naman saan may mangloloko sir. First puntahan nyo muna yun kotse na gusto nyo. Magsama po kayo nang mechanic o kaibigan na nakakaintindi sa kotse. Mga 2 o 3 tao kayo para ma inspect nyo mabuti yun kotse. Pag kursunada nyo yun kotse hingi po kayo xerox copy nang rehistro tignan mabuti kung tugma yun mga detalye sa rehistro at yun kotse like plate no. Engine no. Chassis/body no. Color, owner, address. OR/CR po hingin nyo kopya. Puntahan nyo po yun LTO office kung saan naka rehistro at i pa check nyo dun yun records kung tugma sa hawak nyong xerox saka yun CR no. At OR no. Check nyo na din kung may alarma yun kotse. Pag ok lahat balikan nyo yun kotse at bilhin nyo na.

perhaps you avoid the bayan sellers and dealers, and go to the private owners selling their cars.
if you are lucky, you may stumble onto one who is selling his perfectly good but older car, because he just wants space for his new car.

Dalhin nyo sir sa mga under chassis shop like goodyear tire centers. Dun sa mga nag o-offer nang alignment services. Pa check nyo mga tie rod at ball joints nyo pati yun rack&pinion baka may gastadong bushing na sir

thanks SkyFlakes88, kahit naka idle lang may vibration eh, napalitan ko na lahat ung pang ilalim nya, ung sa transmission engine support na lang ang di ko pa napapalitan since binili ko yung sasakayan pro sabi nung mechanic ayos pa daw yun eh, pro baka palitan ko na rin para sigurado.

Baka po solid mounts po pinalit nyo sa mga engine support sir? Pag solid kasi talagang may vibration po yan.
